The most memorable part of her career was in the NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, from the year 1996 to 2002. In the intervening years, she was a part of such sitcoms as ABC's Suburgatory TBS's People of Earth NBC's American Auto as well as the movie Mean Girls. Ana Gasteyer has waited her all her life to be a part of American Auto. Two TV films were created based on her life tale: Martha, Inc.: The Story of Martha Stewart (2003) and Martha: Behind Bars (2005).
